Sharing sites have recently evolved into full-blown communities and are excellent places to make a photo 'famous.' These are places on the Web where you can post a link to an outstanding image, making it easy for others to view and vote for it.
You have probably heard of many of them, like Digg, Reddit, Fark, Mixx and YahooBuzz.
Okay, before we start telling you how to do this, you need to know the ground rules.
First, be a solid member of the photographic community and only post photos that are outstanding. If your selections are poor, you will either get voted down or lose credibility as a source. Possibly both.
Secondly, don’t just submit your photos. In fact, rarely post your own photos and only ones that are incredible images.
Here’s the process. (Many of you might know about this, but some might not).
You need to register at each site (don't worry, they're all free). Then, all you need to do is find the submit button, paste the link in, write a catchy headline, pick the category for the photos and BAM, you’re sharing a photo with millions of people around the world.
(Conveniently, you can find all of these sites under each photo on WeSay by hitting the “+ Add this” button).
Sounds too good to be true, like something you would hear at a Bernie Madoff meeting?
It’s a little more involved than that.
