Obesity tax
New York wants to impose a higher tax on the sale of non-diet soda. This is a great idea and while they're at it, they should have higher taxes on french fries too.

Global warming issue
More than 2 trillion tons of land ice in Greenland, Antarctica and Alaska have melted since 2003. We say that is enough evidence to show humans have created a global warming crisis.

The polls are not always right. This election will be very, very close.
In 1980, an Oct. 27 Gallup Poll showed Jimmy Carter had a 45-42 percent lead over Ronald Reagan. Then Reagan beat him by 10 percentage points. This election will be a tight race. Do you agree, or disagree? Tell us your prediction and percentage of votes for each candidate too.
